Farmers Union honors Collin Peterson

ST. PAUL — Minnesota Farmers Union President Doug Peterson presented House Agriculture Committee Chairman Collin Peterson with the Farmers Union Golden Triangle Award, the organization’s highest award of recognition for leadership on behalf of farmers, ranchers and rural communities.
“Collin has been a steadfast supporter of Minnesota’s family farmers, ranchers and rural communities,” said Doug Peterson, Minnesota Farmers Union President. “His leadership in getting the Farm Bill through the House Agriculture Committee was irreplaceable. We are fortunate to have Chairman Peterson as our leader in the United States House of Representatives, working to improve the quality of life in rural America and I look forward to working with him in the future.”
The Golden Triangle Award is presented to select members of the U.S. House of Represent-atives, and Senate in recognition of their leadership on issues important to rural America.
